NFG: Noisette et Fromage aux Gateau

Dave’s favourite Hazelnut Cheesecake is a marriage of the chocolate and hazelnut. Chocolate and Hazelnut would always go together. That is why everyone loves Ferrero Rocher and nutella..
This cake of mine has a Hazelnut Dacquoise base, topped off with a layer of chocolate, followed by a layered of chilled cheesecake with chocolate and hazelnuts and lastly, right on the top would be the rich and fragrant hazelnut praline cream..
Not too sweet, This is one of my best creations ever.. I remember the times when Dave took steps to the freezer to sneak a piece of this NFG into his tummy.. :P

Coming out of the freezer, this was the closest I have gotten to a mudpie.. :)

Pu Tian 莆田

My brother in law returned from China and it was an agreed outing to Putian probably cuz my mother likes to eat Chinese food. I’m not that big a fan of food from mainland china, but i do like cantonese chinese food.  But Pu Tian’s food isn’t very fantastic.. So I dun really like them.. Except for the Squirrel fish, aka 松鼠鱼. Its a must try at Pu Tian.. Sorry I dun have the picture though.. :X

My uncle Ah Xiong and my aunt with my two cousins sandwiching her.. Beside them is Ah May auntie.. My mum’s closest friend :)
My brother in law is the man beside the waiter and of course the empty seat beside Dave is mine..
Anyway, I think I was way too busy eating away to take more pictures of food, so the dinner at Pu Tian didnt bring much pictures of food i could recommend other than the Squirrel fish.. :P

A Little Love… from the man who loves me most in this world

Dave specially got me a gift just to show me his love.. :) Ain’t that sweet? Well, Its a bracelet.. And I’m not showing.. :P

Meet Apple.. Mango’s friend.. Haha.. Nahz.. This is my uncle’s toy poodle… She is smaller than our dear little Mango and for some reason I think  Apple looks like those old immortal man who often offers peaches.. I’m not sure if you noe which old man I am referring to.. But you need to know the Chinese culture well enough to know what I’m referring to.. :P
