24th June 2008: Tokyo Disneysea 東京ディズニーシー Part I

Its almost the end of my Japan Trip entries cuz I lost so many of my photos for I have no idea why.. Its really sad.. I took many photos with my favourite people when I returned back to Hiroshima..Photobucket
But here are my pictures at the entrance of disneysea… Yes. Disneysea.. You have disneyland, so why not disneysea?
The difference? The disneysea had a more sea theme.. haha.. sounds crappy right? But anyway, I was wondering when would they have disneyair or disneysky.. Maybe they would hire aerospace engineers for that.. haha.. PhotobucketPhotobucket
Anyone wondering why am I wearing the Japanese Yukata? Well, its summer and there was a promotion discount if you appear in Yukata.. I guess its to promote the culture of wearing yukata.. I wonder why in Singapore, we don’t wear traditional costumes to pasar malams like the Japanese wearing Yukata to the summer festivals.. Haha..PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Anyway, we landded at Disneyland instead of disney sea and the walk to disneysea was kinda far, so we took the rail.. Check out this ultimate disney minnie fan i met.. So cute right? Even her CROCS are disnified!!PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

The signature disney logo: The disney castle…

Mickey mouse head of flowers!!

Check out the Venice style boat rowing in the background.. Mamamia… That is so romantic…
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Tower of terror.. You walk through a story of horror family and you take a ride that takes you all the way to the top in the process showing you some eerie scenes.. When the doors suddenly open at the top, you see the entire disneysea for a few seconds and the raised platforms fall through the entire tower..

Daisy duck.. Not my favourite character.. But she was sure attractive to catch a photo with!

Fuji-Q~Mount Fuji~

Dave and I woke up real early and made our way to the Tokyo station to collect our ticket package which includes a bus ride to the famous Fuji-Q.. We missed the earliest bus to Fuji Q,so we had to catch a later bus… What is Fuji-Q? Its one of the most popular theme parks in Japan with rides which are among the top in the world such as the fastest roller coaster going at 180km/hr, the highest roller coaster and the roller coaster with the most number of turns!PhotobucketPhotobucket
Behind me is the one of the world’s highest roller coaster. It was rated the highest in 2003, but I’m not sure if the record still holds..
 Photobucket
The Fuji Q would be my top recommendations for you to see the Mount Fuji and spend an entire day having fun, provided you have a heart daring enough to take on the rides.. PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
This is the fastest roller coaster in the world.. It shoots up to 180km/hr! So fast that your hair ends in a mess when the ride ends..
Photobucket
Our home made pack lunch of Japanese curry and Japanese Onigiri.. Its a little pathetic, but it filled out stomach nonetheless.. :)
PhotobucketPhotobucket
The Ferris Wheel shows the world’s fastest roller coaster. Can you check out how steep this coaster is?PhotobucketPhotobucket
The world’s highest roller coaster!
