It was Yohan’s first Chinese New Year in his life and I was so excited to spend the three days of Chinese New Year with him.. My boy was so interested in the Chinese Culture that I had to research many origins on my own before I could tell him stories about certain traditions.. Haha…
Yohan had his first “Yu Sheng” and the story of Yu Sheng is in the link provided.
The neighbourhood called in a catering company, Pin Si,to cater to New Year Eve’s Reunion Dinner for about 4 households. My mum had about four tables for our family and Ah Mei auntie;s family..
The greedy table started the Lo Hei first.. Lol…
After Lo Hei…
Everyone was so into my sister’s camera.. My cousins in particular… :S
Buddha Jumps over the wall.. one of the most expensive dishes in Chinese Cuisines…
My aunt who looks 20 years younger than her actual age on the left picture.. Right: My factory employees with Yohan…
I think Uncle Ah Siong is trying to do some magic… but no idea.. :S
The food was really good and highly recommended for wedding caterings and outdoor caterings. I think my sister’s wedding was from Pin Si too! :)
