Since I found out Yohan loves Fondant au Chocolate, I simply had to try the recipe by Alex Goh… I’ll update this entry with the recipe another time… Yohan missed this cuz he had it back in France…

24th Jan: Yohan’s First Popiah

Yohan has never tried my favourite local dish, Popiah, and I simply had to make him try it.. Too bad he doesn’t like it as much as me though.. :S But I’m glad he still like it anyway…

The popiah in Yishun is really good… The auntie puts a combination of crabmeat and hard boiled eggs… And this secret ingredient which gives the popiah a great crunch!

23rd Jan 2010: Wedding Dinner

I have not attended a wedding dinner for ages and it was such an honour to attend Sapphire’s Wedding.. It was Yohan’s first time at a chinese wedding. I thought it was really cool and fun for him.. :)

Also, It was the first time he put on a tie… He just looks so cute…

        

I had tonsillitis and it was killing me though… My first tonsillitis in my life.. but Yohan showed me lots of care and love.. :) I thought it was sore throat initially, but it was far more painful than that.. Every bite, every swallow, it just hurts so badly…

Yohan was also suffering from a poor stomach from the chinese food at the hotel.. Maybe it was the fish.. :S

some tonsillitis advice.. Just see the doctor and get really good antibiotics!!!

19 Jan 2010: Subway at The Verge

Yohan and I are practically inseparable.. :) After my lessons at the Alliance Francaise and his martial arts training, We went to subway at The Verge.. Due to our different requests for the sub, the lady labelled our sub boy and girl.. How cute is that?

17th January 2010: Cousin’s One Year Old Birthday

It was my cousin’s daughter birthday.. My niece’s one year old birthday… Its not baby shower or is it?

 

Yohan continued meeting the rest of the Tan family.. My cousins from 姨妈’s side of the family..

My grandma and my aunts say that Yohan looks like my Cousin Cheng Xian…    

Cute cupcakes… But I’m not so much into Marzipan art.. They are cute.. but they taste horrible!!! :X

   

We tied up Mango’s ears cuz her ears were getting dirty from the food and drinks.. Lol…
